Africa 4X4 Adventures offer 5 and a half day trips to Namaqualand starting on the 1^st of September every year, travelling in a luxury minibus to our destination, Springbok in the Northern Cape which we know from experience offers the most beautiful sightings of natural spring flowers.

We are conveniently based in Melkbosstrand on the Cape/Namibia route. Our packages include transfers to and from Cape Town International Airport, two nights stay at Weskus Kaya Bed & Breakfast and all meals (alcoholic drinks excluded). Once we arrive in Springbok, guests will stay at the Goegap Nature Reserve.

The itinerary is as follows:

Day One

Guests arrive at Cape Town International Airport CPT Airport, transfers to Wekus Kaya Bed & breakfast where they enjoy a hearty South African West Coast dinner and attend a briefing on the trip so everyone knows what to expect.

Day Two

After a good breakfast, guest start travelling to Springbok along the scenic N7 route via Citrusdal and Clanwilliam, where we will have lunch at Niewoudtville. After lunch we drive to a nearby guest farm where we will stay for the night.

Day Three

After a good nights “farm style”rest, we take a quick circle route to the Nieuwoudtville waterfalls, Loeriesfontein to see the Windpomp (wind pump) Museum, via Calvinia to Springbok. This route is something to experience, affords visitors many photo opportunities, and will last a whole day’s travel. At around 16:00 we have to book in at Goegap Nature Reseve for the night’s stay. Once there,  guests can enjoy a campfire dinner and simply just relax and unwind.

Day Four

After a well deserved rest and good breakfast, guests will travel the most beautiful route in the reserve, lasting approximately 2 hours. Thereafter, we go off the beaten track to explore and experience the beauty of Africa. Lunch will be at an impromptu stop, surrounded by the most spectacular carpet of flowers. After lunch we continue exploring until about 16H00 following which  we return to the reserve for the night stay and dinner.

Day Five

Guests will travel the 550 km back to Weskus Kaya Bed & Breakfast in Melkbosstrand on the picturesque South African West Coast for a nights stay before returning to your destinations.

Day Six

Debrief, greetings and transfers as arranged.
